Terms of Sale

When you place an order on this site you are entering into a contract with Bluetect ([ABN — set this in admin Settings]).

All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD). [GST registration status — set this in admin Settings] — if you are registered for GST, prices must be stated as GST-inclusive here. Shipping is free within Australia on every order, so the price you see at checkout is the total you pay.

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to correct an obvious pricing error and to cancel an affected order with a full refund, even after the order is placed — we will contact you first if that happens.

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm the order and dispatch it. If we can't fulfil your order — for example the phone model you selected sells out between you adding it to the cart and us processing it — we'll contact you and give you a full refund or an alternative, whichever you prefer.

Please check your phone model carefully before ordering. Our protectors are cut to fit a specific model. Ordering the wrong model is the most common cause of a product not fitting, and a protector that has already been opened or applied can't be returned for a change of mind (see section 5).

Delivery timeframes, carriers, and what happens if a parcel goes missing are set out on our Shipping & Delivery page. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees — once a parcel is with the carrier, their timeframes apply.

Our returns and warranty terms — including the 30-day unopened change-of-mind window, our cover for faulty items, and the fact that impact damage after installation is not a defect — are set out in full on our Returns & Warranty page, which forms part of these terms.

Our screen protectors filter a portion of the blue light emitted by your device screen and provide physical impact and scratch protection. They are consumer accessories, not medical devices. We make no claim that they treat, prevent, or cure any medical or ophthalmic condition. If you have concerns about your eyes or your sleep, speak to a qualified health professional.

Any figures we publish about blue-light filtering describe laboratory measurement of the product under stated test conditions, and are presented alongside those conditions. They are not a promise of a particular health outcome for any individual.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, our liability is limited to replacing the goods or refunding the price you paid.

Please don't attempt to interfere with the site, place fraudulent orders, or use the site in a way that breaks the law. We may cancel orders and refuse service where we reasonably believe that's happening.

These terms are governed by the laws of [state/territory — set this in admin Settings], and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place and of the Commonwealth of Australia.
